Are People Still Looking for Marriage, or Has Modern Dating Changed Everything?

A lot of people don't want to be married. This is coming from, you know, social media. I think a lot of people are scared to be married or to be in a relationship.

One is because of money. You know, people are using other people for their money. And my reasoning behind that is because a lot of people don't come from a wealthy background. When you, if you don't come from love or a healthy a wealthy background, you're going to do things you, you basically lived off of survival. And hey, I appreciate you turning back in juice. I go like I thought I was done, but I'm not angle. I'm not. I don't gotta be up until a couple hours, but it's I'll be.

I hear like women that are older is more so there is relatable. They can relate to them and you know, they know what they want compared to, you know, younger women. They don't know what they want, but you know, they're just off of what I heard. I'm just saying once you get like a it's hard to even. Men are even men too, not just women. So how? Many like I'm doing this and I ain't doing that, and that's what it is. So how many women have you have came across where you know they didn't want to change, but you seen potential in there? But you know, they just probably just that one young lady. Something wouldn't want to go through the. Men. Men as much as they trying to which everything up around and men are more emotionally sound. True, you know. What I'm saying it it it's usually the the man that leaves the relationship last, you know what I'm saying? Because he's trying to make it work and stuff like that. These bro are not as much as they try to make them seem like emotional creatures, bro. They more like praying mantis. They more like opportunists.

You know what? I'm saying I, I get it. And you see that now, I'm not bashing no woman, but that's one thing I just thank God and I pray about, just like, Lord, just give me the discernment. So I don't marry a woman who's opportunist because I know there's women out here who are really looking for a man, not for what a man has, but for who a man is. You got some women who are marrying man just because of their height, not for who they really are that you got. Yeah. That's crazy. It is bro, It is.

And I was saying on my recent video like when did height come about? When did height become so important? I thought, you know, if you want to be married, you're you're marrying this person because, you know, you made a covenant to God, but also you genuinely like or love this person. You wouldn't. But I don't think that's the case. I don't think that's the case nowadays. I think in the 90s, you know, it was true love. Now social media has taken over and everybody mindset is like you said, opportunist or I got options.

If we talk about options, man, options don't last long because eventually you're going to run out of good people and there's not going to be a lot of good people around and. You. Either you going to marry someone that you didn't love, love for real, or you going to just die single. But I don't think you get that many opportunities coming across someone that's good.

And I think marriage is a beautiful thing. I think yes, I am afraid of coming across the wrong woman and say like I do and when I say I do and it and you show me exactly what other men are talking about because all I see on YouTube don't get married. We was both in college, so we we seen each other almost every other week and the truth came out through a text and I was just like, Dang. Umm, well, that's what I'm, I'm hoping that he gets into some sort of like a outpatient therapy program, but I don't know. I don't you just, you got to write a person off. You can either like I spent a lot of time and a lot of resources and just wait too long for for being in that relationship. It was not a good situation. He kept on promising he'd get a job and then he'd never get a job and instead he'd just go out and get fucked up instead. See so. That does that doesn't work. I shouldn't have to work three jobs and not go on a vacation and then see my ex go on a cruise with his wife.

My daughter out boating when she was young and I took her aside and I said, you know, OK, he's a dumbass. He's probably gonna joke about pretending to be like drowning and everything like that. And so like that, but when you come, when it comes to water, you don't, you don't fuck with water, you don't you take if somebody is like struggling, you take them seriously. And like, sure enough, she went out and they went on a boat and they're hanging out and he wanted her to jump in.

But I told her do not jump in the Mississippi River. I don't give a shit because of you just don't. I just especially when she was only like 6 years old. So I did not want her jumping in there. And sure enough, I guess he was joking about pretending that he was going to be drowning and stuff. And sure enough, he like jumped in. She's like, I'm not going to jump in, you jump in. And he jumped in. And sure enough, he was starting to struggle and it was because she recognized him and like saved him.

He'd be alive because her cousins, they just started laughing and she's like, he's actually struggling. She like took put the anchor down and everything and threw the stuff out and saved his life. And it's like, Dang, why did I have that conversation with him? Because you know what, if I would, if I went to have had that conversation with her, he would have been dead. And then I wouldn't be jealous that he's on a cruise with his wife. But I had to be an. No, that was a. That was a He sounds like a fun guy.

Yeah. And then when she was like when she was really young, she was in a car accident with him because. And I told her, I said if you get in a car or if you if you're driving with your dad out of town, you make sure that he doesn't go like, or make sure that you put your seat belt on. And if you think you're going to get in an accident, then you need a hunch down and cover your head. And sure enough is winter and he took her with a friend and his buddy to have her go skiing. And on the way back during the winter he tells his friend to go over 100 mph, go real fast, go fast.

And then he like he lost control. And then the cars like flipped like 3 or 4 times and it landed on its hood and they had to crawl out of the back windshield. So and my daughter said she's like, I was praying that if I had, if I die, I'd die fast because she was that like petrified. But she said she had her head down. She had her head covered and she could see him flying all over the place, right up there when it was flipping. And it's a miracle that nobody. And you know what, like when the cops arrived, they went down to the ditch where the where the car landed on its hood and the snow, like, went up to their thighs.

So they're lucky that they had that padding and otherwise they for sure would have been dead. But still, who the fuck drives 100 miles in the winter? That's not cool at all. Yeah, Hell. No, that's crazy. Yeah, he is. He's playing with it. Yeah, he played his life, Yeah. So he's alive, do. People still want to be married? I don't know. Do people still want to be broke?
